Family Camp at Lake Geneva


is just that — An experience designed for everyone in the family. For many of you, this is an annual summer tradition. With the completion of the Dining and Event Center, Lake Geneva Christian Center is even better equipped for fun, food and fellowship. The recreational activities we have planned for you and your family are second to none. As always, the heartbeat of camp is rooted in the services. We bring you the best speakers for children, teens and adults so everyone has the opportunity to meet with God in remarkable ways throughout the week. Don’t wait – housing on the campground fills up quickly. The Minnesota adult and teen Challenge choir is an outreach ministry of Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge, made up of residents at the Minneapolis and Brainerd campuses. Their goal is to bless congregations by testifying about God’s healing power and helping others overcome their struggles. Joe Gordon

is a missionary to India and leads Live:Dead efforts to spread the Gospel among the 2,000 unreached people groups in the country. He has an amazing testimony of how God changed his life and prepared him for ministry. His passion and miraculous experience inspire the church to follow Christ no matter the cost. Dr. Allen Tennison

has taught theology and church history at the undergraduate and graduate level since 2004, and served in pastoral ministry for over fifteen years. Dr. Tennison has authored articles on Pentecostalism and the theology of the Holy Spirit. While being a prolific author, he is also a respected instructor at North Central University. Tim Enloe

was called to teach about the Holy Spirit when he was fourteen years old. He is a graduate of Central Bible College and is ordained with the Assemblies of God. He has written several books and is a frequent contributor to magazines. Since 1993, Tim and his wife, Rochelle, have traveled in full-time teaching ministry with a special emphasis on the Holy Spirit. Evenings, July 3 — July 6

Mike and MonaRE Shields

are Missionary Evangelists with the Assemblies of God World Missions. They travel to Latin countries each year preaching to thousands of people in a variety of ministry settings. They focus their international ministry on leadership training, outreach campaigns, church planting and youth ministries. Evenings, July 7 — July 8, Morning of July 9

Registration for housing during Family Camp is taken by USPS MAIL ONLY starting January 3, 2017 on a first come, first served basis. Reservation forms will be available online after January 6th at Completed 2017 registration form and payment must be sent to the LGCC office at 605 Birch Ave, Alexandria, MN 56308. All registrations need to include at least a 50% down payment. A confirmation letter will be sent to you at the end of March stating your reserved housing and any balance due. FULL PAYMENT must be received in the LGCC office by Friday, June 2nd and any new reservations after that date require full payment by credit card only. No refunds are given after that date. Refunds, less a $50 administrative fee, are cheerfully given for cancellations received through Friday, June 2nd, and any accommodation changes will incur a $30 handling fee. LGCC recommends that you make a copy of the completed registration form for your records. There is a $5 key deposit for each key requested when you check in. This key deposit will be returned to you when you return the key(s) at checkout. Rustic Cabins do not have locks.


Delicious buffet style meals are served daily in the Dining Hall. MEAL PRICES: REDUCED RATE FOR ADVANCED OR CAMP OFFICE PURCHASES, GOOD FOR ANY MEAL! ADULTS & YOUTH: $9.00 ($7.50 seniors’/ministers’ discount), CHILDREN 4-11: $5.00 ($4.50 minister’s kids’ discount), UNDER AGE 4: Free. All meals purchased in the Dining Hall are $10.00 (adults) and $5.50 (kids). New in 2017: Family Pack! Purchase 10 meal tickets, get 2 free of equal value. Snacks and additional food items are available for purchase on the grounds. Geneva Java is open daily serving specialty coffees, smoothies, snacks, etc. Late evening coffee, tea, juice, and dessert specials are offered in the Dining Hall following the evening services. The Oasis beachfront snack stand is open afternoons. NO cooking is allowed in any of the camp housing units. Additionally, Alexandria’s fire code does not allow food grilling on wood decks.


Gentle, quiet pets are permitted in the Hillcrest RV Park ONLY. Pets must be kept on a leash and confined to the individual RV site. Owners are required to clean up after their pets. All pets must remain in the Hillcrest RV Park with the exception of licensed working dogs. Excessive barking or failure to properly care for a pet will be cause for removal. Check-in time is 3:00p.m. and check-out time is 11:00a.m. Registration is in the Welcome Center. We know you love LGCC, but no one is permitted on the grounds before Friday, June 30th, 3:00p.m. due to another group renting the facilities just prior to Family Camp. NOT PERMITTED AT LGCC: Tobacco of any kind, alcohol, illegal drugs and fireworks. All individuals under the age of 18 must be under the supervision of an adult at all times. Personal items such as bedding, towels and pillows are not provided except in the Kingriter Retreat Center. Skateboards and bicycles may not be in any buildings or on walkways. No ATVs or motorized skateboards are allowed on the property and golf carts may only be driven by those with a valid driver’s license over age 16. Insurance: Secondary insurance coverage is carried by LGCC. All injuries must be reported to the camp office and first submitted to the individual camper’s insurance holder. A nurse will be available onsite daily. RV Site Information: We have a limited number of 50 amp RV sites; most are 30 amp. Please indicate the size of your rig and slide-out information on the registration form. Campfires and pets are allowed in the Hillcrest RV Park ONLY. Tents: Tent sites are on a first come, first served basis in the 600 block and on the north grassy area. Each tent pitched is $15 per night with a tag required; this includes anything placed beside a cabin, but does not include dining tents.
